Virginia Sea Grant (VASG) is located at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, College of William and Mary, on the Gloucester Point, Virginia campus. The Assistant Director for Research works assists the Director in all aspects of planning, management and administration of the VASG program, with a primary administrative role for managing the research and graduate fellowship funding processes, program evaluation, monitoring and national reporting activities, and working with the Director on strategic planning and targeted VASG initiatives.

- Alice Ferguson Foundation: Bridging the Watershed Program Director

Bridging the Watershed (BTW) is an outreach program of the Alice Ferguson Foundation in partnership with the National Capital Region of the National Park Service and area schools. BTWÕs promotes student academic achievement, personal connections with the natural world, lifelong civic engagement, and environmental stewardship through hands-on curriculum-based outdoor studies in national parks and public lands. The BTW program director provides operational, managerial, administrative and strategic oversight to a growing, innovative place-based secondary school education program in the Washington, D.C. metro region.

The manager provides primary policy support for Ocean Conservancy's focused one-year campaign to secure federal policy that advances Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) to protect, restore, and maintain ecosystem health. Provides daily support to the MSP team leader and the MSP project staff in ways that advance support for the MSP policy i.e. policy analysis, strategy development, coordination of the NGO community, and selective outreach.

I.M. Systems Group, Inc.is looking to hire a Coral Program Specialist to serve as an International Coordinator in the Coral Conservation Division of the Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (OCRM), which is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The position will be located at the OCRM headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. The candidate will serve as a program specialist for international coral-related matters, supporting activities under the NOAA Coral Reef Conservation Program . Duties will focus on program coordination and development, strategic planning, partnership building, and implementation of select projects that benefit coral reef conservation outside of the United States. This is primarily a program development and coordination position with most duties being performed at OCRMÕs headquarters. Limited domestic and international travel may be required.
